- Crushed rock with fines.
- Typically as a base layer or course.
- This product has fines for compaction.
- Crushed surface base course.
- Compaction is not as tight as 5/8".
Uses:
- This product absorbs and holds moisture well.
- Great for softer areas where smaller material may disappear into the muck or mud.
- Used as a road base.
- Can be used as a pavement sub-base.
- Typically used for commercial driveways.
- Parking spaces for big trucks and RV's.
- Also used under downspouts and in areas with water runoff.
- Walkways because it will compact for a level surface.
Typical Installation:
- 2-3" of product for base layer then top with 1" of 1 1/4" Clean.
